"Are you paying twice, just to be nice?"
Many employers are paying twice for the service work on their group health insurance. How? First, part of the premium that's paid to the insurance company is passed on to their broker as compensation for servicing their account. The broker gets paid, but in many cases does little or nothing in return.
Second, employers also pay their employees to do the service work (or they're doing it themselves). To clarify, I'm referring to the resolution of everyday issues like billing errors, replacing lost ID cards, resolving claim issues, writing appeal letters, changing addresses, updating student verifications, assistance with mail order prescriptions, answering coverage questions and helping with provider lookups, just to name a few. Sometimes there's an employee designated to do the work, and in other cases the employees are simply resolving issues themselves on the employer's time. Either way the employer is paying twice for the same service.

Keep Your Current Insurance Plan
If you choose to take advantage of our offer you DO NOT need to change your current health insurance plan. The only things that change are your broker and your level of service. Your coverage and billing remain unchanged. The only difficult part is telling the current broker that you've found someone willing to work for their pay. That's never easy, so I ask you again, "Are you willing to pay twice, just to be nice?"
